I am an artist, maker and art teacher working out of studio 4 at ARTFUL.
My work explores the abstraction of landscapes as an act of looking back; reimagining landscapes as they exist in memory, shaped by time and personal experience. The horizon line often becomes a metaphor for the blurred space between past and present, where time bends and memories transform.
After a decade in the film industry, a friend's request to teach art brought me back to art. Teaching for the past 15 years has both enriched my artistic practice and expanded my understanding of art and history.
My curiosities and passions fuel my teaching and allow me to foster an environment of exploration for my students and myself.
Teaching art has shown me the space for exploration and ingenuity that art provides.
I moved to Cleveland Hts from New York City in 2016. I was excited to find a studio at ARTFUL, whose mission I share; to support artists while making creativity & inspiration accessible to the community at large.
Having a studio at ARTFUL provides me with the space to teach and to fully immerse myself in an artistic process.
I love owning art by local artists. It connects me to place & community.
I’ve exhibited at:
Wasmer Gallery New Masters 3: Women Artists of Northeast Ohio 2023
ARTFUL Cleveland,
with an upcoming group show at Yards Projects.
